Privacy

This page explains the data used by Detective Lands and the controls available to players.

Data used by the game

Detective Lands processes your account email or external sign-in identity, nickname, faction, progress, permanent land ownership, DC/RC ledger, mission results and advertising reward records.

When you request a nearby land action, the game sends your foreground location, accuracy, timestamp, speed and mock-location status for server validation. The last accepted validation replaces the previous one. The app does not request background-location permission. Visible map-tile requests are served by OpenFreeMap.

Why this data is used

We use this information to authenticate players, prevent duplicated or fraudulent economic actions, show nearby land, preserve ownership, calculate server-authoritative balances and progression, operate rankings, diagnose opted-in failures and verify rewarded advertisements.

Service providers

Supabase provides authentication and game data storage. Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics are optional and start disabled. Google AdMob provides advertising and consent tools; live rewarded advertising is not currently enabled. OpenFreeMap supplies visible map tiles.

Your choices

Usage statistics and error reports can be enabled or disabled independently in Profile. Advertising privacy choices appear when required. Public rankings show nickname, faction and aggregates without exposing your email or account UUID.

Account deletion

You can permanently delete your account from Profile after two confirmations. This removes the authentication identity and associated profile, wallet, land ownership, activity, location validation, progression and advertising records. It cannot be restored. Anonymous parcel geometry may remain because it contains no player identifier.

If you no longer have the app, use the external account-deletion process.
